Programme Overview
The Pathways2Purpose Programme supports learners and families through one of the most important transitions in a young person’s life, moving from school into tertiary education and adulthood. Our structured, hands-on guidance removes confusion, reduces stress, and helps learners make informed, confident decisions about their future.
How the Programme Works
Our approach is practical, personal, and supportive.
We walk with learners and parents through career exploration, tertiary applications, documentation, deadlines, and preparation for life beyond school.
No guesswork. No rushing. Just clear guidance at every step.
Career Guidance & Pathway Mapping
We help learners explore pathways aligned with who they are and where they want to go.
This includes career interest assessments, subject-to-career alignment, guidance on university, TVET, and private institutions, and exploration of alternative routes such as extended or bridging programmes.
Learners gain clarity, direction, and confidence in their choices.
University, College & TVET Applications
We provide careful, thorough support with applications to South African public universities, TVET colleges, and private institutions.
This includes step-by-step guidance on online portals, accurate completion of forms, and application tracking to ensure deadlines are met.
Applications are submitted correctly and on time, maximising opportunities for acceptance and funding.
Document Readiness Support
Many applications fail due to missing or incorrect documentation. We prevent that.
We support families with identity documents, results, proof of address, affidavits, certified copies, and compliance checklists, ensuring every requirement is met with confidence.
Personal Statements & Motivation Letters
We guide learners in expressing their goals clearly and authentically.
This includes understanding requirements, one-on-one drafting support, editing, and alignment with institution-specific expectations, resulting in strong, well-written submissions that reflect each learner’s potential.
Funding & Bursary Readiness (Optional)
We help families prepare for the financial aspects of tertiary education through NSFAS guidance, bursary search strategies, document preparation, and appeal support where applicable, improving learners’ chances of accessing financial assistance.
Parent & Guardian Engagement
We believe learners succeed best when parents are informed and supported.
We provide clear timelines, regular updates, information sessions, and guidance on how parents can support their child, even when time is limited.
Programme Delivery & Duration
Our programme is delivered through a flexible hybrid model, including one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and online support.
The recommended duration is March to December, with flexible options based on learner needs.
Programme Philosophy
Every learner has potential.
Every family deserves support.
And no one should navigate this journey alone.
